I hope the project initiated with good intentions prospers in two years . I wish you all success and prosperity.
Projects funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of European Union and other international conterpart projects contribute a lot in many ways. I believe solid outcomes can also be seen in our city as well with the help and support of Sosyal İçerme ve Eğitim Foundation, Provincial directorate of health, a university from Spain and non-governmental organizations from Slovenia and Portugal.
As our President of Sosyal İçerme ve Eğitim Foundation said, an attempt to open a new care home for elderly which also causes to change in legal name of the foundation is another point but the tendered construcion of Elderly Care Centre has started. Many other organisations have supported in addition to Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services and Ministry of Health. The government tries to meet any requirement in a best way. There are solid attempts to fulfill the requirements but what really makes us happy is that both non-governmental organisations and governmental organizations come together for the project coordinated by the Burdur Governorship. Burdur Governorship has made possible to colloborate with experienced people from 3 different countries therefore we can utilize their extensive knowledge and information richness in project management process. This is the satisfying endevaour that should be emphasised and underlined.
.
The project is going to meet the the needs in this context, which is quite grateful. We have just agreed upon a pilot project which is joint of social assistance and solidarity foundation, Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services and Ministry of Health to give services to adults and seniors in the comfort of their homes. The main goal is to reach the people who are in need and unable to leave the house by themselves. We are trying to fulfill the requirements of these needy elderly in in a way they deserve. We highly attach importance to new projects as each project is a unique point of view and development which yields new outcomes. I am highly greateful to my friends who have made a great effort in writing the project, choosing and including the experienced partners and implementing it meticulously. I also want to appreciate our foreign guests for now, next and future support. May it bring good luck for our city!’
