Alzheimer is an importantdiseasethatcausesmemory, thought, andbehaviouralproblems. Thebiggest risk factor in thisdisease is ageandaging is inevitable.

Therewere46.8millionpeopleworldwidelivingwithdementia in 2015 andthisnumberwillreach 131.5 million in 2050.

People with Alzheimer arecaredfor at homebymembers of theirfamily. Andthatthosefamilymembers, in turn, havehigherincidence of stressanddepression, as well asloweroverallquality of life.

Project ‘s goal is toenablefamilycaregiverstosustain a decentquality of life as theycarefortheirlovedone, andtoprovide a comfortable, dignifiedexistenceforpeoplesufferingfromdementia. Project aimstodevelopfamilycarers’ knowledge of Alzheimer’sandotherdementias, andtheircaringskills, toenablethemtorespondmoreconfidentlytotheirfamilymembers’ needs.
